Ortaokul Öğrencilerinin Özel Gereksinimli Bireylere Yönelik Tutumları

Abstract

Engelli bireylere gösterilen olumsuz tutumların değiştirilmesi ve sosyal kabulün sağlanması için engeli olmayan bireylerin engelli olan bireylere yönelik tutumları üzerinde hangi faktörlerin etkili olduğunun bilinmesi gerekmektedir. Araştırmada ortaokul öğrencilerinin özel gereksinimli bireylere karşı tutumlarının çeşitli değişkenler açısından belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda araştırmada ortaokul öğrencilerinin özel gereksinimli bireylere yönelik tutumları cinsiyet, yaş, okul türü ve sınıf düzeyi değişkenlerine göre karşılaştırılarak incelenmiştir. Ortaokul öğrencilerinin okul türlerine göre özel gereksinimli bireylere yönelik tutumları küme örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Böylelikle 2020-2021 öğretim yılında Konya İl Merkez ilçelerinde öğrenim gören toplam 2101 ortaokul öğrencisi çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak “Özel Gereksinimli Bireylere Karşı Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılan çalışmada parametrik istatistik teknikleriyle veriler analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre ortaokul öğrencilerinin özel gereksinimli bireylere yönelik tutumlarının öğrenim gördükleri okulun yerleşim yeri, cinsiyet, yaş, okul türü ve yaş değişkenlerine göre farklılaştığı görülmüştür.
